Perhaps the best description of the problem in attempting to use the Carbon-14 dating method is to be found in the words of Dr. Robert Lee. In 1981, he wrote an article for the Anthropological Journal of Canada, in which stated: "The troubles of the radiocarbon dating method are undeniably deep and serious. Despite 35 years of technological refinement and better understanding, the underlying assumptions have been strongly challenged, and warnings are out that radiocarbon may soon find itself in a crisis situation. Continuing use of the method depends on a fix-it-as-we-go approach, allowing for contamination here, fractionation there, and calibration whenever possible. It should be no surprise then, that fully half of the dates are rejected. The wonder is, surely, that the remaining half has come to be accepted…. No matter how useful it is, though, the radiocarbon method is still not capable of yielding accurate and reliable results. There are gross discrepancies, the chronology is uneven and relative, and the accepted dates are actually the selected dates.” So when 50% of your results are thrown out as errors, how can you trust the other 50%? THAT seems like willful ignorance to me. Search for articles about it on google scholar. You ll find articles written by experts that were published in peer-reviewed journals. Just because something is accepted as the status quo, doesn t make it true. Those who scoff at questioning the status quo are just as bad as those who tout baseless conspiracy theories.

Today I’m very pleased to bring you a special guest blog from The Frequent Dater which is all about  Online Dating Profile Examples for Men.   I’m running guest spots all this month to celebrate the fact that I’m a judge for dating category for the UK Blog Awards.

Hi everyone, just before I bring you some amazing online dating profile examples for men, I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I’m a thirty-something, UK-based dating blogger over at The Frequent Dater and I’ve been in the dating game on and off for what seems like forever! I regularly post fresh new content and update my followers over on Twitter, you can follow me @FrequentDater.

Online dating isn’t an exact science. Women want different things in a guy and it’s difficult to please everyone all of the time. But who wants to please everyone anyway? We only really need to appeal to a small minority in order to be successful in the dating game, I mean how many women do you have the time for?!

I ll try write out the formate I was given, it may be a bit confusing, but you should get the idea. You should meet with your guidance counselor to discuss what to put on your resume, they probably have a format sheet they can give you, thats where I got mine. It honestly is pretty simple so long as you have the format sheet sitting in front of you, I would check with guidance for one. The whole thing should be size 12 Times new roman (centered) First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name (centered Next line)Street Address (Centered next line)Town, state and Zip Code (center next line) phone number including area code (note Centered) Education:(bold and underlined) years you have attended high school space name of school, city, state expected date of graduation, June 2009 Student Activities:(Bold and underlined) year you participated (space) Activity (example)2007 Freshman orientation Leader Athletics:(bold and underlined) year participated Sport year participated award you may have received Awards:(bold and underlined)(these are academic awards) year received(space) name of award(if the award needs description because it is unique to your school or not self explanatory you may include it briefly) Community Service:(bold and underlined)Include any clubs you have been involved with or projects you have participated in. Again if a description is needed you can include it. You may also include a total number of community service hours that you have completed. Year (space) Activity Employment:(bold and underlined) years (space) Job-Include a description of your responsibilities Hobbies:(bold and underlined)- Only include if the information is relevent and has not been previously mentioned. For instance if you take photos on your spare time or hike and you think it adds to the overall picture of who you are and it is not redundant you may include it Knowledge and Skills:(bold and underlined) This is where you include if you are CPR certified or anything like that. Best of luck

First I need to take a step back and understand that there are several ways you can arrange your website/blog. The first is by subject, which most blog and CMS platforms call “categories.” The second is by date, which occurs as most blog/cms systems put things in year, month, and date groupings. A third is by tagging, which consists of the notes or descriptions you put on your posts or pages. That page will exist on the page, but also on the category archive page, year archive page, year-month archive page, year-month-day archive page, and the archive page for any tag that you attach to the page/post.
