Josh Altman and Heather Bilyeu are a staple couple on Bravo’s reality series Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. We’ve watched them for several seasons, from the time they first got together to getting engaged. Lately, we’ve seen them on the show struggling through relationship issues and dealing with the stress of planning a wedding. Read on for the facts on the break up rumors, their careers, their views on having kids, and the proposal.
Throughout the season on Million Dollar Listing LA , we’ve seen some ups and downs in Altman and Bilyeu’s relationship, especially when Altman’s brother is concerned. In the above clip from the show’s finale episode, you can see some of the issues the couple was having.
One of the biggest problems Bilyeu and Altman were having was planning their wedding. The two eventually decided to postpone their July 2014 wedding, which led to a lot of speculation that the two of them had broken up. Despite the rumors, the couple stands firm that they are in love and want to focus on what’s right for them. The two originally said that because they met on the show, they wanted to get married on the show, but they said the wedding became more about the show and less about them.
Nothing to worry about, folks! When the news that Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Josh Altman had “called off” his wedding to fiancée and fellow real estate agent Heather Bilyeu , fans immediately began to worry that the reality TV couple was done for good. But they exclusively spoke to Us Weekly about their mutual decision to postpone their July 2014 nuptials, clarifying that they are still very much together and planning their wedding.
“You won't hear this very often, but it was probably the best thing for our relationship,” Altman, 35, tells Us of the couple’s decision to delay their big walk down the aisle. “At the end of the day I think we kind of forgot who the wedding was for, and when you have cameras following you around most of the year — for the last four years — you forget that at the end of the day that’s gonna live a lot longer than Million Dollar Listing. It's about us, and at the end of the day, that's what was most important to us.”
His blonde fiancee, who received a gigantic diamond engagement ring on last season's finale of the Bravo show, couldn’t agree more.
Second time's the charm for these two! After putting their July 2014 nuptials on hold, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles stars Josh Altman and Heather Bilyeu are recommitting themselves to wedding planning — and each other. In the new issue of Us Weekly , the betrothed-again stars reveal they've set a new date: April 2, 2016.
Heather and I are in a great place right now, Altman, 36, tells Us. We're happy and everything is good and we've kind of thrown out all the other noise. Last year we were trying to do everything at once and we couldn't, even though we felt we could. And that was one of the reasons why we canceled the wedding.
Now, Bilyeu says, they're focused on what really matters — each other. I think that the craziness of last year really helped put things in perspective for us, and as difficult as that was, it did bring us closer, she explains. It made us kind of focus on what we wanted individually and then what we wanted as a couple for our future, which has ultimately made us realize that we do want the same things out of life and for one another.
